It was a very beautiful episode.
Without hesitation or doubt .
Agree with your note too.

My favorite episode as well! It's really just a straight out fan favorite, especially for people who love Tai! The lines in that episode, along with the true emotion and feeling when Tai had to leave Kari behind; the helplessness Tai felt as his world crumbled around him, and as the episode foreshadowed such an incredible darkness to befall both worlds.... I could go on for a lifetime about my love for that episode, and your drawing perfectly depicts how Tai'd be feeling when he returned to the Digital World.
But I love your work! Amazing!
But yes, Mr. Hosoda Mamoru is a great director; all the movies and such made by him are great! I am yet to watch Summer Wars and others, but the Wolf Children was very interesting to watch. :3
That must've been quite a dilemna for him, but then again, if he hadn't come back the digidestined would've remained split up for who knows how long! xD
And your comment made me wonder, "What if Taichi didn't go back to the Digital World?". Oh boy, the fanfic potential... it would be so cool, everyone thinking Taichi were dead and having to fight against Vandemon/Myotismon all alone, being warned by Gennai there's an eight digidestined to fill Taichi's place, only to find out he's alive........ *w*" *is shot due to day dreaming*
xDDD This would be really cool is done the right way!
I was thinking about writing 2 separate Digimon fanfics but now, I can see the potential of merging them together with the 'What if' scenario...
Oh man, how would I spin this? It took great courage on Taichi's part to go back and leave Hikari, but would it be the same to stay and refuse to go back? Or would he be called a coward? Oh the possibilities...
Episode 21 is my favourite episode of all time
segui-te no tumblr , btw. ^^
Mind you that the episode is not perfect. In one point in the episode we are treated to static background seen in which people are frozen in place while Taichi finds out where he is (in the foreground).
